Florida Barter Golf Tournament

Make Plans for
Sunday,
October 26, 2008
at the
Mission Inn Resort,
located at 10040 CR 48,
Howey-In-The-Hills.

EL CAMPEON - “THE CHAMPION”
El Campeon, built in 1926, is one of the
south’s oldest courses. Here course
architect, Charles E. Clarke of Troon,
Scotland, blended unusal elevation
changes of more than 85 feet with features
of traditional golf design. Rolling fairways
and undulating greens only begin to
characterize El Campeon. The course’s
signature whole is the par 5, 17th, a long,
double dogleg that has more obstacles than
some entire courses

From The Desk of Scott Whitmer

Why are you spending cash?

Do you think, “Is this available on trade?” before
you spend cash? A client recently called and said
their car broke down and they spent $200 in cash
on a tow truck and $1,500 cash on a transmission repair.
And I asked, “Why didn’t you call Florida Barter?” Their
response was, “I didn’t think of it.”
So our client spent $1,700 cash and could have used their
trade dollars and saved the cash. Florida Barter has tow
trucks and transmission shops on trade!
This happens every day! So why are you spending cash
instead of calling your broker first?
Why are you spending cash?
I have too much cash.
My family doesn’t cost much, so I have lots of cash.
My spouse never spends money.
I work hard for my cash and like to throw it away.
Employees don’t cost much so I keep lots of cash.
Why spend your trade dollars?
I save my hard earned cash.
I can travel more often.
I enjoy more entertainment.
I can advertise more.
I can spend on health care for my family.
I can give trade dollar bonuses to my employees.
I would rather spend trade dollars and save cash.

Successful Traders Have a Plan!

Do you?

1. Read the weekly E-Newsletter every week. Share with your managers and family. If you don't get the enews contact us at 321-397-2050 or email your broker to be added.

2. Convert cash expenses to trade; use the barter budget planner to help identify expenses you
can switch.

3. Spend trade on the little things, they add up; Dry Cleaning, Pest Control, Shoe Repair,
Haircuts, Massage, and Answering Service.

4. Go the extra mile and be flexible. Be willing to travel a little further to use trade dollars.

5. Proper planning goes a long way. Plan ahead and book your travel early.

6. Personal Needs: Spend personally, get your family involved, and in doing this you can save a
bunch of cash.

7. Get everyone involved: your spouse, partner, office manager, and employees.

8. Call your broker often: Things change daily. Get the best referrals. Your broker is the key to
success!

9. Think trade daily: Always ask, “Could I spend trade instead of cash?”
